at enhancing ecosystem services such

Explanation : Pollution of water occurs when substances
that will modify the water in a negative
fashion are discharged in it. The most
important pollutants that cause degradation
of water quality in rivers and streams are
Bacteria, Metals and Nutrients. The sewage
water carries harmful bacteria. Inorganic
water pollutants include Heavy metals that
come from motor vehicles. Thus infested
with waste ranging from floating plastic
bags to chemical waste, our water bodies
have turned into a pool of poison.
