Marked curiosity can be one characteristic of a gifted learner.
Why A fits: Some gifted students ask probing questions and show a strong desire to explore ideas beyond the immediate lesson.
Why the others are weaker: Family wealth, artificial behaviour, and classroom indiscipline do not establish giftedness.
Important qualification: Curiosity alone is not a diagnosis or a reliable way to identify every gifted student. Teachers should use varied evidence and provide suitable learning opportunities without making assumptions about a child’s background.
