Eligibility

Educational Qualification

  • Master's degree in Commerce or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university.
  • Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master's degree.
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Third Gender categories require at least 50% marks.
  • Final Year Students can apply provisionally.

Age Limit for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

  • Maximum Age: 30 years (relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per govt norms).

Age Limit for Assistant Professor

  • No upper age limit.

Nationality

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen (or otherwise eligible under the conditions specified by the NTA/UGC).

Eligible Postgraduate Degrees

  • Master of Commerce (M.Com)/ M.Com (Hons.)
  • Master of Financial Management (MFM)
  • Master of Business Economics (MBE)
  • MBA (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, HR, etc.)
  • PGDM (equivalent to MBA and recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU))
  • Master of Interrrrrr
  • ational Business (MIB)
  • Other equivalent postgraduate degrees in Commerce or related disciplines recognized by UGC/NTA.
