Explanation : anuplabdhi is the prarnana (source of
knowledge) of non-apprehension. its
theorists held the view that the absence
of an object or its attribute from a locus
is known ouly through the means of nonapprehension, or 'anupalabdhi' rather than
by any other means of knowledge like
perception. the non-existence of a thing is
apprehended by its non-perception. nonapprehension of a thing is a means to the
apprehension of its non-existence.
