    Vyapti implies a correlation between two facts, of which one is, pervaded (Vyapya) and the other pervades (Vyapya). In anumana (inference), the major term (Sadhya) is related to minor term (paksa) and its relation depends upon the universal relation between the major term and the middle term (Hetu). So it is on the ground of Vyapti that the middle term leads to the knowledge of inferred object.
