    Grounded theory involves the construction of theories by inductive reasoning, through methodical gathering and analysis of data. Any research begins with the identification of the research question and formulation of a hypothesis. Then the population is defined and the sample is decided. Then the desired data is collected and analysed to test the hypothesis of the research. Based on the findings of the research, generalisation is done and theory is constructed. Grounded theory follows the same procedure.
