Explanation : Students'academic performance is an output
of their learning ability, motivation, and hard
work. However, if the student has a low
self-efficacy (belief in his or her capacity
to execute behaviours necessary to produce
specific performance/ attainments) or the
teacher's expectation from him/her is low, it
is likely to affect the academic performance
considerably. Belief in God is a matter of
faith; while indifference towards politics is
a matter of choice. Neither has any bearing
on a student's academic performance.
