land set aside for native plants, animals
and the places in which they live. Wildlife
Sanctuary is an area where the wildlife is
protected in their natural habitat. No human
is allowed there without an escort. According
to National Wildlife Database, as of 2011
there were 102 national Parks and 518 Wild
Life Sanctuaries in India but as of May 2019,
there became 104 national parks and 551
Wild Life Sanctuaries in India.
