Explanation : Anumana or inference Pramana is using
observation, previous truths and reason to
reach a new conclusion and truth; e.g., if one
observes smoke, one can infer that there must
be fire. Similarly, the existence of God was
logically proved as an anumana or inference
of the fruitlessness in the actions of men as
the following line from Nyaya Sutra says:
isvarah karanam
purusakarmaphalyadarsanat
which means, God is the cause; because we
find fruitlessness in the actions of men.
