Explanation : Random sampling is a sampling technique in
which each sample has an equal probability
of being chosen. A sample chosen randomly
is meant to be an unbiased representation of
the total population.
The Fish Bowl draw is an easy procedure if
the total population is small. Each element
is numbered on separate slips of paper which
are kept into a box; and the required number,
according to the sample size decided, is
randomly picked out one by one.
Two (or more) samples are called independent
if the members chosen for one sample do not
determine which individuals are chosen for
a second sample. Two (or more) samples are
called dependent if the members chosen for
one sample automatically determine which
members are to be included in the second
sample. Fish bowl method can be used for
collecting either. The method is random, so,
not structured.
