Explanation : Use of communication technology in
classroom presupposes or requires as
precondition new forms of expression
and applications. In order to adopt the
latest technologies, the school education
system needs revamping in various
aspects that includes curriculum design;
delivery mechanism; teacher concerns;
student motivation; and appropriate and
adequate technology infrastructure right
in the classroom. In the digital era, the
conventional role of teachers is in transition
from knowledge givers to facilitators,
constructors and creators of learning
environments. This calls for equipping
teachers with new skills and capabilities to
use technology effectively.
