The verbal (consisting of words) messages,
therefore, must be clear, concise and
correct to be effective; i.e., to be able to be
decoded or understood as intended. So, the
principles of effective writing are Clarity,
Conciseness and Correctness. Stress on
hyperboles, liberal use of adjectives and
use of complex sentences, on the other
hand, only confound the message.
