GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is conducted for admission to postgraduate programs, recruitment in PSUs,  and higher education. It  evaluates knowledge of programming, algorithms,  computer networks, and many other such topics.

Educational Qualification

  • Studying in the 3rd year or higher of an approved undergraduate degree, or
  • Have already completed an approved undergraduate degree.

  • B.E./B.Tech. (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines)
  • B.Sc./B.S. (relevant disciplines)
  • BCA (where covered under the approved eligibility criteria)
  • MCA / M.Sc.

  • Integrated M.Sc. or other approved integrated programs

  • No minimum or maximum age limit.

  • Indian citizens and eligible inte
