0. The length, breadth and height of a cuboid are in the ratio of 6 : 5 : 4. If the total surface area is 5328 cm2 , then the length, breadth and height of the cuboid will be

  • Option : C
  • Explanation : Let the length, breadth and height of the cuboid be 6x, 5x and 4x cm respectively.
    Then, 2 (l x b + b x h + h x l) = 5328
    ⇒ 2 (6x x 5x + 5x x 4x + 4x x 6x) = 5328
    ⇒ 2 (30x2 + 20x2 + 24x2) = 5328
    ⇒ 2 x 74x2 = 5328
    ⇒ 148x2 = 5328
    ⇒ x2 = 36
    ⇒ x = 6.
    Then, length = 6 x 6 = 36 cm
    Breadth = 6 x 5 = 30 cm
    Height = 6 x 4 = 24cm.
