- Explanation : SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is a programme initiated by Government of India with the objective to take the best teaching learning resources to all, including the most disadvantaged. This is done through a platform that facilitates hosting of all the courses, taught in classrooms from Class 9 till post-graduation to be accessed by anyone, anywhere at any time. The Spoken Tutorial project is about teaching and learning particular FLOSS (Free/Libre and Open Source Software) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, C/C++, LibreOffice etc. e-Granthalaya is a Digital Platform developed by National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. On this platform, NIC provides a complete ICT solution with integrated Library Management Software, Digital Library Module, Cloud hosting environment and a Library Portal (OPAC) with NICSI empaneled Roll-out Services and support. IIT Bombay envisages the 'e-Yantra' platform to harness the intellectual talent of young India to create utility based robotic applications for usage across variety of applications such as: agriculture, manufacturing, defense, home, and city maintenance and services industries.
